Kendall Hunter. This guy hasnt been talked about too much around the Falcoholic but from what I see from this guy, he could definately become a great change of pace back.
He has suffered from injury a bit so there is a chance he could end up like another Norwood however when he is healthy he is a serious big play threat who is fast and has the strength to break a couple tackles. If he didn't have injury problems he could have been a 2nd round pick but he is currently projected to go around the 4th round.
He is very fast and has excellent accelleration (he can seemingly hit full speed off one step), he also has great vision which makes him a good big play threat and he is small and agile enough to make people miss. He also can block the pass rush, in the Senior Bowl he did this well giving the QB more time to step up and make his throw. I think he will rise to a late 2nd round pick but if he is still around in the 3rd round I think he would be a huge steal for the Falcons. You can watch a video of him here and a whole game of him here.
His stats for 2010 are: Attempts: 271 Yards: 1584 (5.85 average) Touchdowns: 16
For his career: Attempts: 708 Yards: 4181 (5.91 average) Touchdowns: 37
He could also be a decent recieving threat out of the backfield as he caught 20 passes last year
I think he has the explosive speed to be a big threat like we need while also being very tough and tenacious, he is strong enough to pound the ball straight up the middle and fast enough to break a play around the outside. He would be great as he could be used in so many different way. I think he could fit in perfectly to replace Norwood in this draft and would be a good fit to our offense.
According to CBS sports, he is rated the 11th best RB and is the 109th best player in the draft, he ise xpected to go in the 3rd or 4th round. He also runs a 4.48 in the 40 yard dash.
