PITIFUL SAINTS

okay after a 6 pack of smithwicks we shall see how i do here. I tried to hold back after seeing this little espn episode but i cant refrain. we all know how we hated the aints season that was said to be great because of katrina. I know it was a horrific event that i wouldnt even wish on drew brees aintself, But when you hype your superbowl victory on that over and over and over again after it happend a while a go it gets old........do you want to see where i am going with this.....then jump damn you

Star-divide

I just recently saw somthing on espn that burned my ass. Everyone who doesnt live in a third world country knows about the BP oil spill that has been going on for months. ( i know you are thinking wow that is insensitive. well i say ya it would be, but they dont have the internet so i bet they didnt see this post). well now they are talking about that and the saints together, and said it gives the football team another reason to win a superbowl for the community. superbowl? superbowl? are you kidding me. how about a better governer and disaster plan. Why with lousiana is it that when somthing bad happens it means the saints have to win to give the community hope and reason to live on. This sounds like a bunch of poop to me. go and find that little piece sports center and read it or watch it. Now after reading this post dont think of me as an A hole for posting this. I hate to see all this bad luck happen to them and i wish them all good health and prosperity. Just leave the aints and the cheater reggie bush out of this shi@t.

Excuse me but I dont think you will ever hear a Saints fan say

We won or needed to win a superbowl because of a hurricane or oil spill take your rage out on the media
I live on the MS. gulf coast we got the direct hit from Katrina and biloxi and gulfport and many other cities got completely destroyed and to tell the truth I was tired of hearing about Katrina 4 years ago
So I think your real problem here is with espn

That's probably why he said "espn" twice and "Saints fans" zero times.

It’s barely legible, sure, but it’s clearly about the media and not fans.

We play thursday night so everyone gets to watch us without missing their own team this week.
Everyone will be able to tune in and watch the world champion Saints unfold our world championship banner
Then open a can of whip @$$ on the whiney crying whimpering vikings

there is a lot of debate

about the Gregg Williams defensive tactics… perhaps Drew Brees will see a dose of the Saints own medicine when the Vikings come to town with a vendetta tomorrow… hmmm…

I hate espn

the only thing football wise I put on Katrina is the reopening of the superdome and the a$$whooping the aints put on the Falcons. IMO that was the lock of all locks(for us with gambling problems). I hate to say it but I bet against the Birds, I mean come on a blind, deaf, dumb monkey saw that coming!!

Needs to be it’s on TV network, the new ESPN before it went too glamorious and celebrity oriented.

four years ago

When I was working at Target, a few co-workers were saying the Falcons threw that game.
I didn’t necessarily belived it.
I felt the Falcons were just that bad.
Especially after how we should have scored 30 or 40 points to the Bucs the week prior but failed to do that.
Same issue against the Cardinals the next week.
The first part of the season is similiar to that 2006 season and the last part is similiar to the 2005 season. (A Saints home MNF game, Carolina twice in december including at home to end the season, a late season cold weather game with the Seahawks, Tampa in December) I still think all four teams may be competitive by the December.

haha. the shiat is about to hit the fan....so im gonna turn the fan off first.

i was in reference to the espn, gotta find a story and apply to football. Like i said before i wish none of this crap on my worst enemy. Secondly the “we” as in saints was a typo. i hope the best for the saints, and im not going to say for one second that the superbowl does help you guys out with your economy and all that jazz. wasnt trying to offend ya mississippi. Its just like the farve drama queen stories. it wouldnt be if espn could just shut up about it for a minute. so it was just a random rant on how espn is dumb hoping people would join in on saying what they dont like about the “new” espn. my bad. And about Shi@t. i accidently hit a button tried to correct it, and in my bubbly stupor i said to hell with it cuz it looks funny anyway. :D while i know i have a saints fan viewing this…..fun post, what do you think your saints biggest weakness is? whats scares you about the falcons, and can i steal you superbowl shirt and paint a falcon on it?

Our biggest weakness is LB

Hopefully Scott Shanle can step up at strong side linebacker and jo-lynn dunbar at weakside linebacker
If not i hope we trade for a new strong side linebacker and move shanle back over to weak side before the trading deadline
We should have alot of things about our linebackers answered thursday night against A.P. and the vikes

Disregard what he says about LB. Our biggest weakness is Tracey Porter. Throwing in his direction is your best bet. Repeat as often as you would like.

Feeding the Monster since 1984

Might have something to do with....

Porter being a pretty damn good corner. He had the INT of Farve during the NFCCG, and he had the Manning Pick6 in the Superbowl. He was also very instrumental in getting us through the season. He studies and tries to improve his game often, and he just has the vision of a great CB. He hits pretty good, plays great coverage and is a ball hawk to boot. Yes, please PLEASE use the Porter Kryptonite. :D

HAHAHA

i was just talking to my brother about that peice on ESPN this morning and how bad it pissed me off. i said why not ESPN just warn all sports fans that a thunderstorms about to be over new orleans and to go ahead and get ready to feel sorry for them. detroit got hit the hardest by this economic depression and i guarantee you iff theyd won the superbowl..it woulda just been onto the next season. but all in all, i feel like them winning made more people hate them then like them only because it was by far the most overblown SB victory of all time.

It's the media here

Blame ESPN and the rest of the media on this stuff. It’s not the Saints or NO’’s fault that this stuff happened. I’m sick of it too, and I don’t watch or listen to it. The media loves NO, especially ESPN. NFL Network is not nearly as bad, but they do have some folks on there like ESPN that make me gag. I’m not a Saints fan by any stretch, let them milk it for what it’s worth, because they will not repeat. The media is full of themselves, and they know it. Let’s see how it looks Thursday night…
