Saints Week!

I think it would be fair to say that today's game against the New Orleans Saints is the most important game of the season so far. Last year the Saints had a good roll to 13-0 and obviously the Super Bowl Championship. In that 13-0 start, though, the Saints slipped past the Falcons twice, once by 7 points and 3 points the second time.

As a Falcons fan, nothing has made me more sick than watching all the love the Saints get.

Are they good? Yes. Are they ridiculously lucky at times? Yes.

Tomorrows game is huge, although if we lose, its not the end of the world. Now, if they come to Atlanta later in the season and beat us in the dome...it is the end of the world. My hate for the Saints runs deep. Nothing would be more satisfying than to beat them in their house tomorrow. We gotta get it. I'm tired of losing to them. Drew Brees is 7-1 against the Falcons...whhhaa?

Most people who arent fans of teams in the NFC South dont understand the rivalry. Hell, I dont even understand it. Its just always been this way. The Super Bowl last year just made things ten times worse. The Saints havent lost a game since week 17 of last season, but after their struggles in the first two games this year and Reggie Bush's injury, they could be ripe for the pickin. If we can find a way to get this W theres no reason we cant win the division.

I'm excited to see what Dunta Robinson and 'Spoon can do against the champs. Im even more excited to see our offense get going though. This week will tell us the truth about what we really have in Jason Snelling and how legit our defense is. We've made strides since last year, only giving up two touchdowns(both on rushing plays) but at the same time, the two QB's we've faced so far is Dennis Dixon and Derek Anderson...eh. Obviously Brees and Co. will be tough to handle but I think we can do it. If we can stay away from the turnovers and create some ourselves, today might be our day.
