You realize
That if we pluck Brandon Jacobs from the Giants, we will legitimately have “Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, and Thunder” for our backfield.
Sorry, other NFL teams. We win by default on this one.

Nice pickup
He’ll probably never see the field, though.
It sucks to lose Norwood, but the Falcons might as well just go pure power and mix in Antone Smith every now and then at this point.

I kinda like the power backs backing up power backs
makes the “Falcons’ rotation theme” (go ahead and copyright that) work on the offensive side of the ball too. Keep on rotating in fresh runningbacks that all compliment eachother with similar skillsets and essentially weaken the defense by pounding them the same way over and over.
Hey, it could work.
As far as getting Brandon Jacobs… I don’t see the Falcons picking up on a guy that throws his helmet into stands in a fit of anger (you cannot convince me “it got stuck on his hand”)

TWSS?
And reading thru the game day comments… What is IIRC?

Ahem...
TWSS is an acronym you don’t see very often on the internet. It means, “That’s what she said.”
IIRC is something you see much more often, and it means, “if I remember (or recall) correctly”.

Thank God for small mercies, I’m glad Snelling is part Yeti.

I don't remember all the differences. Maybe they'll bring him back once they figure out that all these RBs are a bad idea.
An RB took his spot on the practice squad. It’s a damn shame. :/

Yeah
They’re probably over-reacting a bit because they had to play a 34 year old Aaron Stecker for several games last year, and didn’t want to get stuck in a situation like that… but there’s always young RB’s available to be your 5th or 6th guy, whether as a street FA or another team’s practice squad…
