Falcons-Jaguars Second Half Open Thread

Gosh, guys! Wasn't that first half....umm....interesting?

Continue to discuss the happenings. Here's a few first half observations:

  • Brandyn Harvey is almost certainly cut after drawing two major penalties and doing little else.
  • Michael Palmer is playing well, as predicted, and may be locking down a roster spot as we speak.
  • The defense has generally looked pretty sharp tonight..albeit backups versus backups.
  • Can Michael Koenen boot a punt, or what?

Well, Bryant has hit two short field goals

He’ll probably make it through unscathed. Unfortunately, we don’t know now if he really has accuracy issues or not.

He sucked so badly at FGs after a few games

That it wasn’t worth the chance we’d hurt his punting. Same logic now?

Except that one time when he hit a 58 yarder to win the game (I think)

Better to get them out of the way while we're fresh.

The home crowd gives a slight advantage especially when it comes to having old, weary bones. That extra burst of energy from the crowd is all it takes.
