Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

The Falcons have to have room on their practice squad for a big quarterback with a cannon arm, right? Make it happen!

I do not see how he could be any worse than JPW...

And I think that he has more upside. Do you believe that the team will actually do something about this?

I'd say there's a 10% chance

omg i agree

i followed him in college when i followed mr gilyard. i think he is awesome, and since its gonna be ryans third year that means pike could potentially lead this team. i know i am getting a head of myself, but i dont like jpw. its not because i dont think he is capabele i jus dont think he plays the way i want him to in order to lead the time. I love rojohombre but i dont think he will be on the team for ever. love pike, if we pick him up i will have the happiest season to date

Tough call on

I don’t know much about him and jpw looked alright so far, but Redman is the new schaub.

I don't see it.

I watched a bunch of cincy games last, idk why, anyway he did well against lesser conference opponents. He looked pretty uh… meh. His backup looked like the second coming of Tebow, but Tony meh.. His recievers made him look far better than he is.

Rule #1: Double tap.

At first I was like "OMB the cincy qb! Get him!"

But then I read this comment and remembered the beast qb I saw in the few cincy games was said backup. I heard a lot of hype about pike but never saw anything spectacular from him. Then again who has a spectacular 3rd string qb that will hopefully never see live game action

What was his completion percentage, games started versus missed, and how does he do against the blitz?
