Each week, we'll scour the interwebs for information about our upcoming opponent. This week, the dashing Arizona Cardinals.
AZCentral: Awesomely named slot receiver Early Doucet is out for the Falcons game. Taking his place is less awesomely named Stephen Williams, who is at least nine feet tall. I'm not sure this is a good thing.
ESPN: Beanie Wells is the running back to watch in Arizona. A guy with a great blend of speed and power, he's questionable at this point for the Falcons game. If he's not good to go, the Falcons will only have to contend with Tim Hightower, much more of a traditional power back. Curtis Lofton should be able to take him on.
Revenge Of The Birds: Enough about the Cardinals' offense. What about their defense? Well, it looks like we're going to have to watch out for Adrian Wilson, at least. Expect him to be challenging Tony Gonzalez all day long.
Associated Press: Darnell Docket will be trouble for Michael Turner all day long. He's been in trouble with the NFL over Tweets and some eyebrow-raising pictures in the off-season, but this is a tough story to read. He tragically lost both parents as a child and made his way to the NFL. However you feel about him, be kind to Dockett this weekend.
SBNation: Based on our network's power rankings alone, we should trounce the Cardinals this weekend. It's rarely that simple, of course, but if Derek Anderson doesn't fumble, throw a pick and take at least two sacks, I'll be stunned.
Phoenix Business Journal: Apropos of nothing, the Cardinals are intent on harshing your buzz, man.
