A Mid-Week Atlanta Falcons Injury Report
All credit for this injury report goes to the Official Site.
So what do you need to know? As always, I'm bringing you the lazy hard-hitting analysis on all things Falcons, so I'll tell you what you should take away from an early week injury report. Yes, I am that much of a journalist.
Here's a breakdown of each player on the report:
T Tyson Clabo: Big Ol' Clabo practiced fully Wednesday, and he'll be good to go against the Cardinals. As one of the more competent linemen against the Steelers, it'll be god to have him healthy and available.
S Erik Coleman: He didn't practice Wednesday, which is at least mildly concerning. Coleman was a huge factor against the run, cheating up amongst our front seven and making several key tackles of Rashard Mendenhall. Missing him against Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells wouldn't be so great. Keep an eye on him for the rest of the week.
C Joe Hawley: Hawley's back and healthy, just in time to take overly for the recently departed Rob Bruggeman. No worries here.
WR Michael Jenkins: I don't really expect Jenkins to return this week, especially if he hasn't practiced by tomorrow. Expect the team to work Harry Douglas and Eric Weems into the passing game in a big way.
CB Chris Owens: Thankfully, Chris Owens practiced. I'm growing more fond of the guy by the day. Nobody his size should be able to hit so hard he turns running backs into bobbleheads, but there you go. Gotta love Owens.
CB Dunta Robinson: He was out with scorch marks, but he's back to practice.
CB Brian Williams: Fully practiced, so he'll likely make Dominique Franks an inactive again this weekend. Hopefully he plays well if pressed into action.

How is Mike Smith’s hamstring ?
He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is

Too late...
Now you know why we didn’t pay him.
P.S. Thanks for the laugh.
I for one am getting tired of Texan fans
always posting something back handed whenever Dunta’s name comes up. Come on guys give it a rest. If you weren’t happy with him, he’s not a Texan now, move on.

Cavalier Fans will be visiting the Miami Heat Sports Blog whenever LeBron has a bad game?

Maybe Robinson can take some of that 57 million and...
pay the stadium manager to turn the AC on and set it at like 60 degrees for the game Sunday- hell ALL home games, if ya got that kinda Knots in ya pockets!!
Really, we’re going to have, in our mind based on the different personnel grouping, we’re going to have 14 or 15 guys that we consider starters on our team. I think it’s very important that everybody understands that they are all starters and they’re all going to be contributing. That it’s not just the first 11 guys that go out there on the field." Coach Mike Smith
On another note
If Coleman is actually injured (he took a nasty hit to the thigh from Dunta when he dove at Hines Ward), will William Moore get his chance this week? I know the coaches have been waiting to set him loose. He should be able to provide the same level of run support.
Chris Owens, man that little guy can hit. If he was a half step back on that one punt coverage I think he would have ripped Randal-El in half. Dimitrof really knows how to draft middle and late round picks.
Michael Jenkins wasn’t really missed in the last game. His supposed blocking abilities were pointless when Turner was getting stuffed in the front seven. This week should prove how valuable he is to the run.
