I give him a 9 because of his weird kid
going to USC

He wore our uni for a long time but...
I never was a fan of his, IIRC he seemed to give up a lot of big plays and was not a strong tackler.
Although those weaknesses, it could be argued, are historically quite Falconly, my inner bastard only gives him a 6.

Twelve years as a Falcons, still active in Falcons-related stuff, and by all accounts a reasonably good player? Given our history, that’s gotta qualify him.

Remember him well
The guy was there forever. From a kids prospective he was a solid corner. Nothing great but just plain solid. For some reason the Butler on the back of the old home reds struck me as being cool. Then again the damn falcon on the side of the helmet made me a fan and all that’s brought is heartache and misery. But in a good way. I like that his boy is going to SC. Required in Socal at birth to register as an SC or crap Bruin fan. I chose the guys w/swords.
yeah
solid but not great. I only remember the bad stuff so that means that he was overall just ok. I dont remember any great plays and I was around when he played so he had to be just ok.

A bum whose vote has not been counted yet, except for the Vicks and Moras of the world.

“These are the new Falcons,” an elated Butler said afterward. “These are not the Falcons in red. These are the Falcons in black. We buried the red ones.”
But apparently didn’t bury the Red Falcons deep enough. They’ve risen from the dead and venged burying the black Falcons.
Perhaps, I must go through Hell to get to Heaven......................if there is one.
Sometimes I wonder why Chris Houston is wearing Bobby's jersey.
Bobby Butler was a Falcon when I was in 8th Grade. He was a Falcon when I was in Law School. He will always be a Falcon.
The Butler did it.
He was as good a DB as we’ve had here (there, I must remember I’m in KY), and seemed to be a stand-up kinda guy (thought I didn’t appreciate the crack about the red helmets, which I’d give my left kneecap to see back again), so I gave him a 9. I’m feeling generous today.
