Atlanta Falcons-Kansas City Chiefs Overflow Thread

You cats sure can talk about a pre-season game, eh?

First half happenings worth mentioning:

  • Curtis Lofton and Sean Weatherspoon piling up tackles, as will likely be their custom this season.
  • Michael Turner and Jason Snelling looking pretty effective on the ground, particularly Turner.
  • The offensive line offered Matt Ryan little-to-no pass protection in the first half. That's slightly troubling against a team that Chiefs fans readily admit doesn't really have a pass rush.
  • Biermann is a beast. Sack, forced fumble...only thing missing is an 80 yard punt.

Enjoy the rest of the game, folks!

Funniest part of the drive chart :

Atlanta 7 plays for -10 yards for a Field Goal

He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is

Ah, crap! 20-9.

Our D was waiting for a spike, and they faked our ass out! Give credit where credit is due.

If I was feeling pissy I’d be glad about the KC injury.

Falcons win 20-10

As exhibition games go, not so bad. Apparently, no major injuries, and some nice rookie performances (especially Nance).

See y’all in the virtual bleachers next week. Cheers!
