Ok so I am bored at work and am watching all the highlights from the 08-09 season. Yes I have that kind of time.

Its the 2nd half of game 13 and the Falcons are trying to score to seal up the game against the Chargers. Ryan takes the snap out of shotgun and fires one to Finnerman, who fiumbles. Weddle scoops it up and takes it in for a touchdown. Pay close to attention to Ryan trying to run down Weddle, at around 2:39 in the video our Iceman plows down a ref trying to catch Weddle. Made me laugh, thought I would share the good humor with the rest of ya. Ah the days are to slowly ticking by, pulling out my hair waiting for the 2010 season to kick off, and is destined to be the greatest year of the Falcons to date! Anyone got a time machine that works? I am rather impatient

I miss 2008

the sun was rising on the Falcons Franchise.
And I had a lovely GF to visit on weekends.

Well at least I still have one of those. (sips on some falchohol – BTW I don’t drink nor smoke, nor have tattooes, nor do drugs)

Also that was one of several wins that surprised me.
The Chargers caught fire after they lost to us and wouldn’t lose again until they face the SB champs Steelers
The Bears had been know for defense and like the Eagles we used to not been able to beat them.
The Panthers had beaten us three straight times in the dome and scored 28 points (Fact: The Panthers have scored 20 or more points in 5 of the last 6 matchups since 2007 – however those 5 times were Jake Delhomme now with the Browns)
The Bucs had a mad defense, but their wheels were starting to fall off some how but only gave up 13 points verses the 38, 41 and 31 points they gave up to CAR, SD, and OAK before and after our game.
The Vikings, not many teams beat the thoughout the season. They had a good defense. And in that game it showed. We won that game because the Vikings couldn’t hold on to the ball.
And I also like how we took advantage of winning against GB and New Orleans, Shutting out the Raiders, and advoiding the trap of the Saint Louis Candied Rams that would have won us the division if our rivials could have beating another rivial.
