I know a paycheck is a paycheck, but just kinda odd if he lives elsewhere/fan of another team. Jinxworthy even?
This is what I was thinking
I might be missing the connection, but I feel like it could have been better if they had used someone from the community, say like Ludacris. That would have gone over much better with me.

Wasn’t a big fan of “Rise up” until this commercial. And yes, Jackson is from Atlanta – he used to be around the Alliance Theater a lot when I acted there in the ’80s.
I just peed myself ...
But it was totally worth it.

That commercial was fantastic.
Samuel L Jackson really was perfect for that role. Can’t help but get hyped over it. The offseason has been long and there was something football related in it. :P

Pretty disappointing if you ask me. Seems like Jackson basically phoned that one in. I do like the sentiment of the commercial, though. Nice idea, poor execution.
