update:4 year deal

Finn

doesn’t have a lot of time left. I hope this guy can take his place.

Heath, thanks for getting this up

And 4 years, $1.95 million? I’m willing to bet he outplays that contract.

yeah

that’s pretty cheap. (in a relevant sense) but that’s how you suppose to pay them. Make them earn it.

you gotta love a player who has no problem making a living over the middle….

This is great news.

But there have been some rumors that Spoon is planning on holding out? Don’t think it’s true but there have been murmurs.

None of the first rounders have even thought about signing yet

It’s probably someone who wants to drum up some controversy amongst the fans. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

No way.

The number one draft pick sets the standard. No one wants to cut their own throat. Most of the first rounders will sign very quickly once the rams and Bradford work out that contract.

Rule #1: Double tap.

yeah...too early for a later 1st rounder to think about holding out...

it’s usually all about the slot he’s in, and the money that gets doled out ahead of him… The dominoes will fall quickly once number one, or someone else high up, starts it. Hell, they JUST started negotiating Bradford’s contract this weekend…

Kerry Meier

is a versatile athlete. Perhaps the Falcons can use him in some wildcat packages. I love my Broncos, but perhaps this will be the year of the Falcon in the NFL. Whenever I visualize the Atlanta Falcons in 2010 in my mind’s eye, I can easily see them competing for the Lombardi trophy if not hoisting it.

a utility player

The Braves got a few of those guys too.
Meier seems like the offense version of Biermann

I like that comparison...

and I hope you are right. That would be great!
