Fascinating article, thanks for the link
Obviously, we’re fretting over Abraham’s demise a little too soon. I am concerned about his third-down production…maybe that’s where El Sid can start nibbling into his snaps.

It don't mean a thing
If it ain’t got that swing
And by it, I mean the defensive line
and by swing, I mean defensive tackles that can take double teams and free up our defensive ends more often

Good post! I think it's too early to sound taps over Abraham.
A lack of consistent production on the inside allowed teams to concentrate more on him. I think upgrades at DT will pay dividends with both ends.
Also, as a confirmed conspiracy theorist, I could help but notice that he got very, VERY few of the holding calls that were committed against him. He wore Orlando Pace (speaking of losing a step) like a necklace during the Chicago game. [The Conspiracy: It makes for better future ratings in the #3 television market when Cutler gets well.]
How many more days, Lord, must I walk through the wilderness?
Abe gets held like a grudge.
