C+ Was a good Try.
Jerry Hughes will be a 2nd round 3-4 OLB pick.
Joe McKnight is nothing more then hype and a little speed.
I can’t argue with Mardy Gilyard given who picked him =)
I like Eric Olsen.
I don’t like our spot in the first round one bit. It would be a dream to move back, but as long as we don’t reach for talent then its all good.
wait until the 4th to draft Gilyard?
Are you crazy? We need to trade up and go get him at like 13-15 in the first round. I’m completely serious.

First we'll need to convince St. Louis that Mardy's somehow already been drafted.

if
your going OLB in the 1st i think it comes down to Spoon or Kindle, RB in the 3rd i would go McCluster(who i don’t think will be there) or A. Dixon
Kindle is a 3-4 OLB
He would be AWFUL in coverage. If we draft him, we would put him at DE as a pass rusher where he would be undersized. McCluster didn’t look very good at the combine and Dixon is projected to go in the late second, early third.

How did McCluster not look so good at the combine?
Yeah, he was a little slow in the 40, but his cone drill was up in the top tier. He isn’t the fastest straight line runner, but there is so much game speed.
WEATHERSPOOOON
Obvious what my first round pick is.
After that, it’s hard to say. I like Dennis Pitta from BYU, but I think we can get him in the fourth round. If someone like Bay-bay Thomas slips to us in the third, we should take him. And at some point early on, we need to draft an o-lineman. Someone like Peria Jerry’s little bro on the inside would be nice.
I agree
about Kindle and have argued the point not to draft him myself. I was just saying if your dead set on drafting an OLB in the 1st it kinda has to be one of those. Of the 4-3 OLB in the draft D.Washington(TCU), D.Watson(FSU), or N.Bowman(Penn State) no one but Spoon can you really justify taking at 19. Now take the other OLB Kindle, R.Sapp(Clemson), J.Hughes(TCU) or whoever you have high on your list Kindle is the only one I would draft in the top 20, or if you consider Jason Pierre-Paul(South Fla) a 3-4 OLB like some ppl do then I could see him being taken at 19 but only if your dead set on a OLB but some ppl consider him a DE(don’t think he’ll be there anyways).
I agree about value of the picks
Picking Washington, Watson, or Bowman in the top 20 would be a reach. I think the pick comes down to Brandon Graham vs. Sean Weatherspoon. If the front office thinks Watson or Washington could step in and do the job, it might be worth waiting to draft an OLB and pick up a DE early. Although personally, I am not very high on Watson after watching that FSU defense get torched several times this year and I just have a bad gut feeling about Washington. I don’t see Bowman being a star in the league like Weatherspoon has the potential to be. To be honest, I don’t think Graham will be there for our pick so I think it has to be Weatherspoon, even though I would be likely to choose Weatherspoon over Graham in the first place
