Vick wants to play for the Panthers...guess why

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick(notes) didn't have much impact in Philly last year after all the brouhaha of bringing him to the City of Brotherly Love after he got out of the slammer for running a dog-fighting ring. He's got another year with the Birds unless they trade him this offseason.
If that trade does happen, Vick would apparently like to go to the Carolina Panthers, according to the Charlotte Observer. Why? As he said, "Well, you know, it's close to home. I like the uniforms. You get to play against Atlanta twice a year. Ain't nothing better than playing against your former team, right? So, yeah, that would be a good look, it would be a good look."
Vick grew up in Newport News, Va., and, of course, once was a dominating force in the league with the Atlanta Falcons.

I don't know ... at first blush, it seems like he's being a little cheeky, but really
the man can’t afford any “maybe what I did wasn’t that bad” innuendos. I seriously doubt he faults Mr. Blank for deciding that the Birds needed to move on. Heck, Arthur was one of like four people that had any kind of contact with him during his jail term. No ill will there, I’m fairly sure of it.

because he likes the thought of the Falcons beating the Panthers twice a year.
because he enjoys pain.
because he isnt very smart.
because he cant read a defense so it doesnt matter how bad ours sux.
because the Falcons paid him so much that he wants to pay us back by losing to us.
because he cant be around dogs anymore so he figured, why not the cats.

I think he should play in Cleveland. That would be Ironic for him to play in the dogpound, don’t you? Have people barking at him in the first 2 rows lol.
