Falcons Release CB Hill, Sign S Giordano
In a move that shouldn't surprise anyone, the Falcons have released reserve cornerback Tye Hill. Last September, the Falcons traded a 7th round pick to the St. Louis Rams for Hill, a former 1st round pick.
The Falcons added Safety Matt Giordano who has spent time with both the Colts (2005 - 2008) and the Packers (2009). He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2005 draft.

I'm not surprised by the Hill cut...
but it’s too bad. We did get one interception returned for a TD last year out of him, and thus, he contributed to our back to back winning seasons. Thank you for your service, Tye, and good luck.
I’ve heard Giordano is pretty quick. He had 2 picks in 2007, one of which was returned 83 yards for a TD. Sounds like a pretty decent depth move.

Sorry I didn't put yours up top first
Didn’t see it until after I had my post up. Thanks for doing this.
