Rotate the big fella in on certain 1st and 2nd downs, then let Duff take over on 3rd.
He’s rapidly winding down his career, but when you see this headline: “Charles Grant wants to become a Saints’ rival,” you say come on home, Chuck.
Of course, you just know the second he became a Falcon somebody would remember that pending 2008 suspension.

StarCaps suspension over his head. Some sort of neck stabbing incident.
The only thing that would be cool about this would be him hurting the Saints. They received all of the benefits of his roid use, and none of the consequences. Whatever, hopefully we’ll punish them next year.

The suspension worries me
he’s had injuries the past couple of seasons.
If he came cheap, I wouldn’t be too against it. The StarCaps thing had some kinda asterisk attached to it (like wasn’t illegal at the time or some non-sense like that) so it’s not quite as bad in my opinion, if that was indeed the case.
Also, I haven’t heard of any kind of neck stabbing thing. If he did that, better just say no to him. Saves us the trouble.

I say give him a tryout. He was disruptive just last year.
StarCaps is a diuretic, not a ‘roid. Put it into his contract that if StarCaps of the past become an issue, he’s out on his butt. If he’s out of gas, it’ll show up in OTA’s and training camp faster than anywhere else.
We could even get Mark Simoneau back for a sixpack and a back of Cheetos.

StarCaps can be used as a masking agent.
I made the assumption that he was on roids – maybe unfair, but thats why masking agents are banned, because they can be used to hide steroid use.
Grady was affected too – although I can see him using it to lose weight. Whatever, a rule is a rule.

I'm just as guilty for assuming it's to cause quick weight loss.
When a 315 lb man needs to lose 25 lbs by next Tuesday to make a payment clause in his contract, he’ll temporarily cripple himself with water loss.
Grady was just trying to get back down to triple digits.

But they'll lack sufficient sainthate.
