Who are WE picking in the 2nd Round?

It seems pretty obvious that we would like to get a 2nd round pick this year... with Juice Norwood ( the new " Juice"...?) and Jason Snelling being tendered for 2nd round picks. Anybody taking the bait? I'd love to have em' both back, but its draft season and I dont wanna miss out on the 2nd round, I am torn. This is a money round for us, Lofton in '08, and we anxiously await the rewards of C4 Moore from '09.

Assuming we lose a RB. We’d pick up Dexter McCluster in the 2nd or Matt Tennat in the 2nd and Joe McKnight in the 3rd (since there are many man-crushes going on with him).

Tentative approval of "Juice Norwood."

Needs a specific flavor though. I recommend Bug Juice, in honor of his home state: http://www.drinksmixer.com/drinkz165y66.html

Just imagine: “10… 5… TOUCHDOWN, BUG JUICE!”

2nd rounder?

I say a TE or possibly Golden tate if he is there

Actually...

As far as I know we don’t have a pick in the 2nd round (KC got it in the Tony Gonzalez trade last year)
We have the pick at 19 and then nothing until the 3rd round

Way to play the hypothetical game the guy asked. I mean he even starts off the whole post with “it seems pretty obvious we would LIKE TO GET a second round pick this year…”

oh I misread it- my bad, haha

I think it’s definitely possible we trade down. Sean Weatherspoon could still be available, and we could pick up a WR or an offensive lineman

I like it!

I think the Falcons trade down in the 1st and gain a 2nd rounder if possible. Weatherspoon would be a great pick in the 1st. The 2nd could be Golden Tate or some nice addition on the offensive line. Defensive End is a position that should be addressed somewhere along the lines as well.

I do like your train of thought and couldnt agree more

"And their 1st pick in the 2010 NFL draft...The Atlanta Falcons select Sean Weatherspoon, LB Missouri."
