seven different corners!! I know only two or at most three will be 1st round picks. who are you hoping for?
I for one, am hoping we trade down, trade out of the first for 2x2nd round picks, and get two for one!!

Bowman
I’m a PSU fan and I’ve seen alot of this kid. Linebackers from Old State get a bad rep for being slow and injury prone, he’s neither. His combine numbers will be off the charts and I’m afraid they will bump him into the top 15.

Dunlap, Morgan, Weathersppoon
I don’t care who it is if they improve our pass rush. If all the quality first round pass rushers are gone, look hard at Robinson and Wilson at corner.

Lets hope we can get Haden
He may not be Erric Berry, but he’s the next best thing

lolwrongnumber
He looked good in UF’s 3-3-5 system because he always had safety help. Patrick Robinson was left on an island by Mickey Andrews against the best WR each opponent had to offer and shut them down. Kid a a baller….

Dudes' Quick
Yeah he looks like a horse. Very instinctive unlike CH. He looks like a good fit here but who knows? TD said he was going to have a more balanced aproach to personel this offseason.

Never really understood the Falcon’s draft philosophy. Not that I have a huge complaint, but I’m usually pretty in the dark until the name comes up on the screen.
Dimitroff doesn’t seem to go for best player available. He likes to go get the guy that fills a role. I don’t think adding another young cornerback necessarily helps us. We have a small army of good young corners that just seem to lack size. I’d much see the Falcons go out and get a veteran to mix in with the corner backs.
The pass rush is the biggest issue. A good rush up front makes corners look very good. Adding Jerry back into the lineup will help. But, I still like going veteran. Passrushers tend to take a long time to really “come of age,” even the highest picked ones.
I’d love to see us draft a position that can make an immediate impact. If Norwood is leaving, as some suggest he is, why not another back? Successful teams have generally had two good backs carrying the load (Panthers, for example). A linebacker usuaully can make an immediate impact as well. There should be some good ones availalble after all those teams get their fix of overrated quarterbacks.

Nice post. Dimitroff is the master of disguise.

You are right
especially on the pass rush issue. I’ve had this feeling all along that it takes much longer for a pass rusher to develop, compared to other positions, and I’d go after a pass rusher in free agency too. or else we might be doomed for another year when we say – “oh, we’re rebuilding, we’re a team of the future”.

meh
I highly doubt Morgan will be there at 19/20. If he is, then it’s Morgan or draft phail.
