Skinny: Kindle is a versatile player who can move up and play defensive end when needed. He can find ways to get at the quarterback, has a good nose for the ball, and can contribute in many ways on defense in both schemes and playmaking. In 2008 he totaled 53 tackles, 14 for loss, 10 sacks, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. Consider the 2009 season his coming out party. Kindle is a better blitzing linebacker than Aaron Curry, who was the number four overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Kindle is a very strong pass rusher who can be a great blitzing strong side linebacker or even defensive end on 3rd downs. He has great speed and aggressiveness, and always plays hard. This hybrid talent could be an ideal 3-4 outside linebacker at the next level.
Stock: When Kindle sent his paperwork to the NFL Draft Advisory Board to see what type of draft grade he had, he was told he would be a second- or third-round choice. It was not what he had hoped to hear, so Kindle decided to return to Texas for his senior season.
01.10.10 - Sergio Kindle played his best game of the year in the BCS national title game. The Texas senior defensive end was all over the field at the Rose Bowl and all but unblockable with 2 1/2 sacks. He made himself a lot of money Thursday. – The Stateman
In a perfect world, I would take Aaron Kampman in free agency and then use or first round pick either on another dynamic offensive player or trade down for more value. I don't see any true lock down corners after Joe Haden.

Generally speaking, I'd prefer you link to the article in question
Rather than copying it in full. But I’m not opposed to Kindle if the team has done its due diligence.

I'm liking the much more vocal Sean Weatherspoon.
Rule #1: Double tap.

we've talked about him before
he’s more of a 3-4 OLB, he’s undersized for a 4-3 DE and didn’t have to play coverage in college to be considered a 4-3 OLB, wouldn’t make any sense to me for us to take him
Undersized DE
John Abraham is the same size but 20 lbs heavier and he has done very well for himself.
I agree
I believe that once Sergio has played a year in professional football he will be able to determine his actual playing weight. He is only 23 yrs old and I think that he has plently of room to add weight and still be effective.
This is the source
That made Cushings and Matthews stocks drop…and they had awesome rookie years.
go hard or go home
This site
Projects him to go in the 2nd round and the #5 overall LB but they do list him as 255 with similar speed as Orakpo.

Bottom line…its anybody’s guess
Take Witherspoon
Playing the Saints twice a year tells me enough to know that we need an OLB that can cover and that is Kindle’s downside. Can’t you see Sean payton scheming to get Reggie Bush out of the backfield isolated on Kindle? scary….
.....
hybrid players usually have trouble adjusting to the nfl. he’s an olb/de and both are needs for our team but he seems a better fit for a 3-4 defense not a 4-3.
HOW MUCH MONEY DID THE SAINTS GIVE THE REFS?!?!?!?!
