More on Vick
To my lack of surprise, Vick is still being discussed about how he was brought in with heavenly hopes, yet took us to the depths of hell. This tidbit I read this morning solidifies the fact this "glorious" man not only had the knife in our backs, but was slowly turning and rotating the blade. I hope this finally opens the eyes on the still die hard Vick lovers. Being a former Vick lover the entire fiasco was one big pill to swallow, this however tastes more like cyanide. Lets put it to rest once and for all that we were all dooped, he was not that man hailing from the heavens, but rather fell from the sky after being rocketed out of some distance devil volcano.

About Vick
I was an huge Vick fan seeing as he was the QB for my hometown teams for a good bit. I was disappointed when he lied about the Dogfighting thing, now I honestly have lost respect of the man. I mean, Arthur Blank gave him everything, he got it taken away from him, OUR frachised hurt because of it, and now here he comes with this crock of bull. I mean, I hope he bounces back and finds him a good team but, I WILL NEVER look @ Mike the same after the interview he gave on 790 the zone…

Moron Vick?
I was actually pleased to hear him admit that he avoided the hard work and film study. It was evident from watching him play. He was either lazy, stupid, or too toasted to remember the play all the way from the huddle to the line.
I have two observations: 1) I almost aways felt like I got my money’s worth when watching MV7. I never knew what he was going to pull, but it was always going to be entertaining; and B) for everything I hold against him (I AM NOT a Michael Vick fan), he is showing a great deal of courage in making these statements.
Step 1 is admitting you have a problem. He’s cleared that hurdle. Now he needs to sign with an otherwise moribund team (like the Bills!) and prove he has value(s).

Cant argue that
Very good point. Lets hope now that he has jumped this hurdle that he can continue to manhood. Not holding my breath however.
more Vick hype
although you would think that this would turn fans from other teams away from a QB that would admit to actually disenfranchising himself from his team , there alot of fans thinking that he would have that much more to give . The only problem is , Vick never has shown the willingness to overcome his love of himself or his attitude of celebritee .
why
continue to give this guy any mention. I wish he would go sell insurance or something and get out of football al together. Can we send him to Canada? Not to play football, just so that he isnt here any more.

The thing is, he really is electrifying.
He’s probably the most gifted athlete I’ve ever seen — cannon for an arm, fast and maneuverable runner. He just never had the discipline to handle the role or gifts he was given.
He’s worth a mention just because if he ever delivers 60% of his potential, Vick could be (or could have been) a new paradigm for QB’s.

well
when it comes to this guy, im from missouri. you got to show me. because until then, to me he is not worth mentioning. he hasnt done anything so great that he deserves it. he had a few good games for us, but all the while he wasnt giving full effort to any aspect of the game. if he can do that somwhere else, more power to him. until then I would just as soon not hear his name.

Here is an idea...at random
Maybe this was just an excuse to tell the rest of the world…blinding us from the truth that he just…well…sucks…HAHA
Personally I think luck was more on his side then anything, sure he might have been electricfying…more for his ability to run with the ball becuase of his “lack” of ability to throw accurately to open recievers. Not to mention his extreme lack at finding said open recievers.
My opionion of course. I was jaded like the rest of us when he was playing and thought he was amazing…then :-)
What I used to tell people is he was too stupid to remember the play he just called.
Why else would he never, ever, EVER throw out out of a 3-step drop. Those are pure timing patterns that you throw to where the receiver is going to be. Instead he would step-step-step-no-bob-weave-stop-change direction-pump fake-scamper-FLING bouncing the ball off a receiver who has no idea it’s coming.

Funny
That pretty much discribes every play that he took a snap…interesting!
