Pass Rush vs Cover Corner?????
I would like to see a better pass rush through the draft with our first pick (19) and a corner with our 3rd round pick. Some mock draft boards have Sergio Kindle dropping to us. Sergio Kindle had a MONSTER GAME against Alabama. He showed me that he can play in the BIG GAME and come up with the BIG PLAYS. I don't know when Myron Rolle is projected to be drafted but I would shoot for him. Myron is an all around athlete and he's got his head screwed on straight. His talent is very raw but his ability and his instincts make up for his lack of experience.

Myron is a safety
And while i see where you are coming from, I personally don’t want to draft another third round corner to throw in with the rest of the group. Either go for the elite corner in the first or sign a veteran in free agency. I think there will be a very good DE or OLB when our pick comes up (personally, I am a huge fan of Weatherspoon) and if the value is not there, we could try to trade down and maybe pick up a second or another third rounder.

Forgot about Myron being a safety
Are their any corners available in free agency?
DB
If atl is going to go with a safety they should go with someone like Earl Thomas but i think they might go with kyle wilson, and i think thats a good pick.. Hes a good corner and best in the draft in his position besides Joe Haden, as far as pass rusher we need to buckle up and get peppers!!
That's personally the way I'd like to see it addressed
Pass rusher first, corner later. Don Banks of Sports Illustrated said he thinks it’s virtually a lock that the Falcons will take a corner first.

Corner is soo much more important right now, I like Grimes Owens has potential, but Grimes is only 5’9 5’10, yea he can leap but not really a big threat and owens still has to mature, we are pretty thin ith DB’s.
I think we lack a true top-flight corner
But depthwise, we’re doing just fine. Owens, Grimes, Houston and Chevis Jackson are all solid.

They are solid but we dont have that Derrel Revis, or champ bailey type to where Qb’s think twice before throwing the ball. We havent had that is Ray Buchanans older days..
you dont need that kind of player
if the QB doesnt get a chance to throw the ball. For too long now Abraham has been taking double teams and no one taking the opportunity.
go hard or go home
Doing fine on corner
I agree that we do fine on corner… if we have a pass rush, and not the other way around.
Our CBs looked quite good against weak QBs. The key is to make every QB a weak QB. The key to that is pass rush.

Pass Rush or Corner?
A pass-rush makes a secondary look better. Carlos Rogers and Leigh Bodden, are good, tall options. Bodden is the likelier of the two. Don’t forget about Brian Williams, who’s coming back. Throw Chevis Jackson and Brent Grimes into the mix, and that’s a solid CB group. Pass-rush in draft.
