Merry Christmas to the Falcon Planet! This will be a brief one this week. For more info, go back into the archives in September for the first one. Falcons lead series, 45-37, 1-0 in the postseason. The most recent game was in week three with the Falcons winning 27-24 in OT. This game was in my opinion, the statement game they needed to make. Taking advantage of Saints TO's and especially that wonderful 11 minute drive to close out the first half was simply awesome. The second half was a weird one, especially that punt hitting DeCoud on the foot, then the Saints taking advantage. Call it luck, or call it whatever you want, just part of football. The Falcons showed the champs that they are not going to be pushed around anymore, and you now have company in the NFC South. That game was like a boxing match, punch for punch. As far as this week's game goes, this one in the Georgia Dome, with the Falcons winning this, and securing the division title and homefield in the playoffs. Can't really get a read on the final score, to be honest. Just know that it will be a good game. Would like to see your predictions on the score. Next week, the final regular season post, the Panthers.
