Big Week for the Birds

I think that all of us on Falcon Planet already know the obvious that next week is one of the bigger weeks in the history of the franchise. With an up and coming division opponent (the Bucs) coming to town on Sunday, and a pretty darn good team from the AFC (the Ravens) coming to town, and on national TV, the birds have a great opportunity to put a major mark on the NFL landscape (something they have rarely done) by winning both of these games, going to 7-2, having ten days off before going to St.Louis. The Falcons can basically can take control of the NFC South, and take care of their own business while everyone else beats the crap out of each other. This team is more than capable of doing this, and they will. This is not the old days anymore, with the new leadership and the current personnel that this organization has, I see no let down. It's only to get better from here. Just remember where we were in 2007, and think about what we have going for us now. We are not going to win every game 41-7 you know. It would be nice to have a couple sprinkled in here and there, but I think that most of the remaining games are going to be played close the edge, and the Falcons have won these already this season. It will only make them better later in the season and the playoffs, where most of the games are played close to the edge. The Falcons have pretty much played like their namesake since 2008, airborne killers, and will continue to do so. I'd be interested in reading fellow Falcon Planet comments about what I just posted.  One more thing to add: The team needs to stay healthy as well :-)
