For the first time in my life as a football fan...

...and that's about 35 years (born in '71, started watching football with my dad in '75), I will actually be forced to pull for the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. It turns my stomach. This is the day when I usually revel in the crushing of spirits of Cowboys fans everywhere (the Steve Deberg led Dolphins having Leon Lett help them out, Ron Dayne with Denver driving a coffin nail in the 4th quarter, Philly blanking them 27-0, etc.) but because they're playing New Orleans this year it makes it damn near next to impossible to enjoy either one winning.

I'm hoping for a 3-2 affair with lagging after-effects for both that carry on for the rest of the season.

Yecch...
