Is our defense good at defending screen plays?

Pat Yasinskas over at ESPN has an interesting blogpost saying the falcons are destroying opponents' short passing games.

Most interceptions in league.

Lower than average passer rating.

Check it out yourselves.

Do our collective eyes decieve us? Are we mistaken about the Falcons D against screens?  Is the comrade performing some sort of sorcery that we cant see this brilliance? Does Mike Smith's ability to cloud our knowledge of the team go beyond just injury reports?
