Real Quick Draft
CB, OL, WR, WLB, DE, HB. The needs, the ideas:
Note: Updated 2/14/2010
Round 1: Corey Wootton, Northwestern. Tall, fast, around the 19/20th pick.Round 3: Joe McKnight, USC. Plays faster than his 40. At times, USC's best runner. Replaces Norwood if drafted. Carlton Mitchell, USF. Has size-speed, but needs to work on route running. If Terry Robiskie can turn Roddy White into a Pro Bowler, he can work his magic here.
Round 4: Riley Cooper, Florida. Tall, sure-handed wideout.
Round 5 (4): Chris Cook, Virginia. A 6'2", 210 corner that is turning heads at the Senior Bowl. He broke up nearly every pass thrown to him (has to be better than Houston, right?)
Round 6 (5): Adam Ulatoski, Texas. A 6'6", 310 tackle that would be a monster on the right side. (Jeff Otah, anybody? Correct me if I'm wrong on him, I'm not sure.)
Round 6: Adrian Tracy, William & Mary. A fast-rising OLB that could fill the spot of Mike Peterson. 6'3", 245 pounds and impressed with his pass-rushing and his ability to drop into the flat.
Possible UDFA:
Alfonso Smith, HB, Kentucky
A.J. Jackson, WR, Cal (6'5", 230. That's enough for someone to look at him)
John Fletcher, OG, Wyoming

If Dexter McCluster is still around for our R3 pick
We MUST get him. He’s climbing people’s boards faster than Jack climbed the beanstalk. Joe McKnight wouldn’t be a bad pick, but McCluster has the chance to be a special player on the right team.

McCluster is a playmaker. I wouldn’t be madd if we took him in the first. I like Brandon Graham or Brandon Spikes as some outside the box choice

I'm not as sure about Wootton
But the rest of that draft looks good, and keep in mind we’ll likely have additional compensatory picks. I Rec’d it.

We have to take an edge rusher this year...
But who?/ Some people say Dunlap, but he’s a lot like Jamal Anderson in which he pushes the pocket but isn’t all that fast around the edge. NFL QBs go through their reads much quicker than college QBs and thus don’t hold the ball as long and he’s a guy that will not look as good in the NFL…
