ESPN Predicts Atlanta Falcons season, consensus is 1st in the Division
Something that amazes me about this too is when they list our strengths and weaknesses the strengths seem to be all offensive and our weaknesses all defensive. Bit of a concern to me.

I hope they're right, but...
Interesting that the O side of the ball counts so much with these guys, but D doesn’t seem to really matter with most of them. John Clayton is about the only one with a halfway realistic take on the defense.
For the eleventeenth time, my favorite quote from Falcons coach Norm Van Brocklin following brain surgery: “It was a brain transplant. I got a sportswriter’s brain so I could be sure I had one that hadn’t been used.”
I do love that quote
My other favorite sportswriter quote, which came from a boxer whose name is escaping me:
“A sportswriter is someone who looks up in the sky and then asks you if it’s raining.”

No way... It will be too tough to hang with New Orleans
Breez is the best QB in the league right now. Either ATL or Carolina will take a wild card… Right now that looks like ATL, but if the Panthers can get their act together, things will get very exciting!
