fantasy football question
i would like to play fantasy football this year, i have never played it so i need all kinds of opinions as to where to go, what to do... from what i have read on the internet i would like to be in a keeper league but if i can't find one i still want to play... i also don't want to put a lot (if any) of money into it... would you guys recommend a site to play it on or is it a local thing where i need to check my area? any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated

any of the sports sites
Like yahoo, nfl, cbssports, espn and tons more. They all have private or public leagues where no money is involved. I play on 2 or 3 different sites a year. Speaking of the FF, I’ve only been here a 3 or 4 months but do ya’ll(yes i said ya’ll) talk alot or at all about FF?
thanks for that info
i am new to the site as well and i don’t remember any FF posts but hopefully one of the guys who have been here longer will let us know
the great white dope...
We had a Falcoholic Fantasy league last year
but we don’t really discuss FF that much. I’ve never really seen a thread about it here.
You have opinions. Share them.
Then I guess I will start one
Yes, we had a FF league last year that Dave commished, which was hosted by FleaFlicker. It was a Head-to-Head league, which works great when you have about 12 managers, but more than likely I think this year we might have to look at going to a Salary Cap style league since I’m betting we are going to have more people wanting to play than is manageable with one league.
I’m creating a Fantasy Football post now, so look for that.

Fantasy Football is usually better when some money is involved. In my experience, people stop playing or don’t take things too serious when money is not on the line. It’s not that way in all cases, but I feel that you should at least be playing for a little bit of money. Something like $50/person. Just my two cents.
