Underrated/Overrated Falcons of the Decade
Aaron Schatz of Football Outsiders put together a list of the Top 25 Underrated and Top 25 Overrated players of the last decade for ESPN.com, but I didn't link to it because it's behind the "Insider" pay-wall. Well, yesterday Mark Bradley blogged about the Underrated and Overrated Falcons. I'd have to say I stongly agree with the Overrated guys and only mildly agree with the Underrated guys - what do you guys think?

i'll second the notion
and strongly agree about the over rated players… i had no clue abraham was that high up in sacks though… i knew he was a beast but he doesn’t seem to get the media attention that other DEs get… i think this year he will not be the only threat on the line which means hopefully he will really shine…
the great white dope...
thanks for linking to this
I don’t think Fin is underrated – I think he is rated appropriately (now). He is a great 3rd option slot receiver that is tall enough to make grabs over the middle (thank God for the new coaching staff that utilizes our team’s strengths and doesn’t make them reach).
I hadn’t realized Abe was that close to Taylor. Shoot, even in his age now, when he can’t get around these younger tackles, at least Babs and Jerry can do some damage while he’s drawing double coverage. Hopefully Anderson finally has a breakout year… the fact he couldn’t do anything with Abe drawing that much attention last season is beyond me.
As far as the overrated list, I couldn’t agree more.
know what you believe in and why you believe in it
Vick and Hall
Definitely the two most overrated players in Falcons history.
Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish — a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow — to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested...Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.
I had almost managed to forget about Hall
Darn you, sir.

Why forget?
November 8th will be a good day – Matt Ryan looks to see who Hall is covering, hike, throw at Hall, Touchdown!! (pretty much a repeat of the Oakland game last season).
