since insomnia has picked a fine time to set in i figured i would make my first post on here... i read any and all things sports and have some (limited) knowledge on the internet so i was thrilled when i stumbled on this site... i check several times a day for new posts or news... what sets this site apart from other forums i read is that the posters on here are very well informed and very well spoken... i HATE reading a post with all the cell phone texting shorthand and those are in abundance on the net... anyway... i took a long time to say not much more than great job those who run this site and great job all who post here... the falcon knowledge here is unreal... i know i am in a good place when i am the dumbest guy around and it seems i have that position fully locked (it's really the only way to learn) ha...
sorry there was no falcons or no football on this post, just wanted to say kudos

No seriously though, welcome to the site. I think you have posted over on the Hawks SBN site before, so glad to see you make your way to the Falcons home here as well. While you will most definitely find intelligent posting galore here, we all have our moments of childish behavior, so just jump in and state your opinions whenever you feel like it. Don’t worry about if your numbers are off or whatever, because as MIA said, we have a quite a few people here who love digging and researching numbers to help everyone make well-informed opinions.
And since it can never be said enough, I would like to thank Dave again for running the best Falcon fan-site around, hands down. I would also like to extend thanks to all of our posters for helping to maintain the high level of class around here. While our words sometime do not convey the proper emotion or meaning that is intended, and we are all very different individuals, not once has anything really escalated to something totally indefensible or inexcusable. SO, thanks Dave, Warlock, and all yous guys!

it wasn’t me on the hawks site but i would say that woodson will get fired this year (i know, wrong sport)… too much talent to run iso-joe all the time… and he should make josh smith drop and give 20 push ups any time he shoots outside of the paint… my opinion of course

i am going to go to my first falcon game this year (i went to a preseason game the year they drafted aundrey bruce but don’t really remember anything)… where is the falcoholic tailgate at? ha…

I was beginning to think no one knew what it was. That would really make me sad. Seriously, it was a better 80’s version of Pirates of the Caribbean. Pirates, skeletons, pirate ship, gold coins, booby traps, monsters (HEEEYYyyy yoouuuu guyssss!!! Ba-by Ruef!).

I think Sik Boy brings up great points. I spend a crapload of time online because it’s my job pretty much. This is pretty much the only place I regularly participate in. The people on here are what make the difference. I am not on here as much as I used to be, but kudos to Sik Boy and all of the rest of you Falcoholics!
