This day, forty-four years ago, Rankin Smith's NFL franchise was born in the wonderful city of Atlanta. While Smith may have had a hard time naming it and the team's first few draft picks may have been a little questionable, we all hold this franchise in an esteem unmatched by many other fandoms. Some may call us a little crazy for sticking with such a "lowly" franchise, but we all know they're just jealous that we have Tommy Nobis on our board of directors.

Let's celebrate this momentous occasion by raising a glass of Falcohol and recalling some of our favorite Falcons memories.
