Falcons Cut OT Renardo Foster
The move is on the heels of the Falcons inking rookie OT Garrett Reynolds, who is expected to compete for a roster spot. Good luck out there, Renardo!

Looks like the Falcons locked up Reynolds and Owens now.
Released Foster (as noted) and the kicker/punter Dehaze.
That’s funny about Dehaze, he was going to sign my hat at the public minicamp (players were just kinda passing the stuff around) and I was quick to stop him before giving him a hard time about having missed a field goal during practice – he was quick to defend himself by pointing out that one of his kicks had cleared the net of the goal-posts.

Dehaze is cool. Hope he finds a home.
And yay for Owens!

Wait...
so you were like – dude, don’t sign my hat? Ha! That’s cold!
I didn’t know anything about Dehaze, but his competition was pretty stiff. I actually knew (sorta) the punter from GA a couple of years ago (Ely-Kelso) who was very good and was signed briefly by the Falcons but couldn’t unseat Koenan (who is a bad-ass). Similar situation.
Speaking of bad-ass, is there a team in the NFL with a punter/kicker combo as bad-ass as ours? I feel like our guys are respected widely, whereas a lot of these poor kickers/punters are treated as second class citizens.
Good luck to Dehaze and Foster.
