Ben Hartsock, Von Hutchins Back In Action
Tight end Ben Hartsock and giant cornerback question mark Von Hutchins are ready to go after suffering season-ending injuries in 2008. Hartsock will still be a major part of the offense, as he's one of the league's finest blockers. Hutchins will probably slot in somewhere on the cornerbacking depth chart, but where?

it's great to have Hartstock back
our 4th and 1 and goal line pushes are going to be extreemely powerful IMO. I’d like to see Hartstock above Peele on the depth chart again. He can line up next to Gonzalez in 2 TE sets and be very multi-purpose. It is so awesome to finally have out unpredictable TE to compliment our potent blocking TE.
Von Hutchins, at 5’9 181 pounds has never been a huge contributor on the team (his best numbers were in 2007 where he recorded 1 interception, 77 tackles and half a sack – this was with the Texans). I can see him competing for a spot, but I don’t forsee him making it very high on the depth chart. He’ll for sure be a valuable special teams player though and I don’t mind having him in the CB competition race. All our CBs should be performing at a high level, as there is going to be season long competitions for their positions.
know what you believe in and why you believe in it
