Our Fearless Leader
Dave,
I just have to say, your quotes are priceless. I'm listening to the Braves game and ran across your quote on the official Falcons blog...
Dave the Falconer at thefalcoholic.com: “If you can’t get excited for Ryan throwing to Gonzalez, you’re either a robot or clinically dead. Or you’re a zombie robot, which is just plain awesome.”
FANtastic.

Let's just take a moment to raise our glasses to our fearless leader(or is he a zombie robot, because we all know that is just plain awesome).
This FanPost was written by one of The Falcoholic's talented readers. It does not necessarily reflect the views of The Falcoholic.

I'm flattered, really
You can blame an unbalanced mind for most of my best stuff. As I was reading this, I was wondering what kind of sound a zombie robot would make, which should tell you something about my creative process…

For SERIOUS
You do a lot to keep this blog civil, welcoming, and worthwhile. It seems like the readership continues to grow, and I think that is mainly due to your mgmt of the blog.
I post every now and again on the SB Nation Braves Blog … but that place has a VERY different feel.
Reporter: How will you address all of the dropped passes?
Mike Smith: I don’t think that we were as sharp as we have been catching the football. It’s something that is very fixable. It’s VERY fixable.

Most definitely
Dave is very welcoming. I can only imagine how much work goes into and I hope it pays of for him. He was even gracious to that crazy Chiefs fan that was probably either bipolar or on crack. As for SB Braves blog, those guys ran me months ago just for trying to lighten things up a little. No sense of humor and judgmental = turd sandwich.

everywhere else on SBN has a different feel
I personally feel that this is by far the best run site on SBN, at least on the NFL side. The way you organize the topics avoids clutter and you don’t resort to appeasing a broad fanbase like a lot of the other SBN blogs seem to.
You manage this site well and somehow… someway… perhaps it is your abilities to brainwash us with your crazy robot-zombie mind tricks, but you maintain a very civil environment.
Kudos to you, Dave. Kudos

I agree.
I haven’t been blogging all that long but this is by far the best site if used. there just seems to be a level of professionalism mixed in with enough craziness to make it fun to get on and read every day. with our Fearless Leader being as devoted to the site as he is ijust have one thing to say THANK YOU.

Amen
O Captain my Captain.
This quote is made of win.
Ha, that gizflammin’ rhymed.
Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish — a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow — to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested...Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.

Yep
I saw that as well. I would love to be a zombie robot in my next life…
