The Falcoholic Mock Draft Spectacular: The Fourth Round
To the fourth round and beyond!
Before everybody gets their pitchforks and torches going, I should note that I only selected two players at each position of need nominated. I did this so save time, avoid confusion and trim the player pool a little. If your guy didn't get selected, take a hard look at them and see if they might make it to the fifth round. If they won't, please keep your harsh criticism of me and everything I hold dear to a dull roar.
Now's the time to make your choice. We'll close up shop on the voting by the end of the day Thursday, so make your voice heard.

Sorry Dave ...
but I’m convinced these polls are flawed? I feel like some people keep refreshing the website and vote multiple times.
Another DT?! Before we take a OT, CB, or TE?
I want JUSTIFICATION! Since we already picked a DT in this mock, and we have a couple of solid dudes already in-the-mix (Babs/Lewis) … AND Anderson will likely spend a lot of time inside this year … PLEASE SOMEONE JUSTIFY PICKING Ricky-Jean! ANYONE!
Reporter: How will you address all of the dropped passes?
Mike Smith: I don’t think that we were as sharp as we have been catching the football. It’s something that is very fixable. It’s VERY fixable.

(that first sentence wasn't meant to be a question)

OK, I went back and read what I wrote ...
and I retract my previous comment. This is a mock, so I guess there’s nothing at stake. My apologies for the momentary freak-out.

it is so justified though
this poll bothers me… everyone is voting for another DT yet no-one is here to justify the pick. It makes no sense (in accordance to the path our ridiculous mock draft has taken).
Who knows though… watch the draft play out and this is the only fan voted mock pick that actually comes true.

IDK
I still think it’s one person refreshing the page and voting their pick into the lead. Nonetheless, I’d really like to hear some justification re: taking a second DT before a CB, OL, second OLB, or TE.

And
The leading CB is a guy who 1. doesn’t tackle 2. doesn’t make interceptions 3. is probably more like a 6th round prospect (the only place I’ve seen him ranked high is Pro Football Weekly)
Sign me up!
Why, oh why would we pick a DT in the 3rd and 4th rounds??!
I’m about to log out and alternate 1000 votes between CJ Spillman and Sebastian Vollmer (j/k)

lol
That was my train of thinking as well. I believe we have already selected a DT , therefore we wouldn’t be drafting another in the 4th round.

Just so you know
I voted for Vollmer. I, too, agree that another DT doesn’t make sense when we haven’t snagged an OL, CB or TE. Especially, considering the noise about McClure possibly retiring/leaving.

This draft is making my head hurt
I agree that picking up two DTs is extremely unlikely at best. I guess the bulk of voters really like our current secondary!

you say secondary
like we actually have one

I know! I know!
Jackson + Houston + Hutchins – Law Dog x TD/2009 = POO

I think we do have one
But we still need help. I’m a believer in our young corners, and I think DeCoud and Coleman can be solid.
