Dave The Falconer Participates In No Logo Needed Mock Draft
It's early yet, but the fine folks at No Logo Needed are moving the process along pretty quickly. Get your suggestions in for who the Falcons should draft at 24, and I'll follow them to the letter.
Unless you say a quarterback, that is.

Clint Sintim
aka the Fresh & Minty, One Hundred Percenty Mister Clint Sinty, the boy wonder LB.
Stealing your mock pick because it’s just so damn good.
Quoteth NFL Draft Scout:
An intriguing prospect because of his speed off the edge, Sintim led the Cavaliers with 11 sacks last season. He could be a late first-round, early second-round selection. Sintim excelled in the 3-4 at Virginia and another such system would be an ideal fit. But he has the skills to play in a 4-3 defense as well.
Smitty’s going to put him at ILB if we snag him. A sack happy run stopper? Yes please.

ILB?
Lofton is our MLB… and Im sure he isn’t moving to OLB.

Moore
We passed on Landry, let’s not make that mistake twice.

We never had a chance at Landry.
He was off the board already.

Moore is No Landry
I really don’t see a 1st Round-talent safety, and I have a preference for building from the line-of-scrimage backward, at least for this draft. I’d prefer a DT with the 24th pick, but if Raji and Jerry are gone, take the best OT left on the board.
That would make my pick….Eben Britton, 6’6, 310, Arizona, to play right tackle.
If the defensive side wins the argument with TD, then the best available LB.

I'd go best available LB first
Even though I like Britton a lot. The line did its job capably for much of the year, while the defense definitely did not.

Yeah ...
but Landry wasn’t Landry when he got drafted. If you know what I’m sayin’.

Ive said if before
Clint Sintim…would be great paired beside Lofton for many years to come. I’ve stated Sintim in countless posts. I’m not a fan of drafting someone based on Athletic Ability (See* Jamaal Anderson) Secondary is usually hit or miss unless there are major superstars( Polamalu) or next year (Taylor Mays) . I’m also not a fan of 5’9 cornerbacks.
