Matt Ryan Camp

Hi all,

Just wanted to spread the word that Matt Ryan is doing a camp for 7-14 year olds..just signed my son up this afternoon.

Pretty good deal I think..its only $90 if you use the code "mattQB" and sign up online here: http://www.procamps.com/toppsmattryan

Ryan doesn't get anything for doing the camp, just out of the goodness of his heart so I figured I would pass along the info.

yeah

I was so impressed how easy it was to sign up..so much easier that when I was a kid haha, with signing forms, mailing them in, writing a check, blah blah.

would it be bad?

to sign up for this when i don’t even have a kid? maybe a neighbor will let me take one of theres for the day so i can meet Matty Ice

that's what happened with me

I was brainstorming as to who’s kid I could take as soon as I heard about it – fortunately for me, I have a nephew that plays pee-wee and is a Falcon’s fan. His Birthday just so happens to be that month so it made for the perfect gift that I think I’m going to enjoy more than he is and he’ll be the one catching passes from the guy

If you go ...

make sure to take some pictures.

well, I've already paid, so I'll be there

I’ll document the whole thing – probably won’t be able to deliver a report near as well as tlozwarlock did with the tour of the Dome, but I’ll try my best. I’ll be sure to even get some video

Excellent

And jsmall404, thanks for posting this.

Speaking of tlozwarlock, where has he been?

by Dave Choate on Apr 2, 2009 1:05 PM EDT up reply actions

Three Possibilities

(1) Standing by his mailbox 24 hours a day … eagerly anticipating the arrival of his Matt Ryan figurine.
(2) He went to take a second tour of the dome, decided he wanted to move in, and has been hiding from Dome security ever since (living on hot dog buns and beer).
(3) He doesn’t like us anymore.

Where have you gone Warlock?!?!

OK

I guess that is forgivable.

hey

He did say it was for industrial ‘meat’ wrapping, haha! At least the guy has a job and right now, that’s about all one can ask for.

Hey Dave

any progress on the Falcoholic T-Shirts? This would be a great opportunity to wear them and get a chance to meet any falcoholics that might attend (I’d definitely sport one). It isn’t until June 6th so you still kinda have time. What’s the update on those anyways?

Training camp!

I’ll so be there. As long as it’s on a saturday…and I’m not working overtime…

I'm thinking I may go CafePress

Just to cut down on overhead. I’ll probably try to sell them at a discounted rate and give one or two away as prizes. All I need is to upload the design and get my lazy ass in gear. It’ll happen!

Please do!

I want a couple of them. I might go make one myself just so I can make my wife wear it while giving birth to my third son, in oh about 2.5 weeks.

oh wow

Congratulations on the new boy.

It’s only appropriate that he is brought into the world by a Falcons supporting mother, whether it be by her will or not.

Well

It’s happening on the 16th of this month, so Dave or Warlock better hurry it up! Oh she is most definitely a Falcon supporter. As much as it seethes me that she makes these absurd claims to be a UGAg fan totally disregarding the fact she couldn’t name me a single fact about the team, but could easily name you fifteen Tech players, she is most definitely an ATL pro-sports fan. Hawks, Falcons, Braves, she’s all in with those.

Haha, she wanted to go to a UGAy game one year, so I bought us tickets…and I took her to the Varsity for lunch before the game. We sat on the five yard line, second row up, and the ATL skyline was never better. Unfortunately, the zebras, I mean muts, won that game 14-7.
