Falcons' disturbing attitude toward Ryan playing Sunday?
I hope I'm overreacting, but when I saw Smitty's quote, "Our mind-set is to try to get him back as soon as we can", I didn't like it one bit. Judge for yourselves.

8 to 12 weeks avg recovery time.
And he wants to come back after 2?
This is turning into a nightmare. If he gets hurt again, the rant thread will contain every 4 letter word I can imagine.
"Ryan, under center. Single receiver set, time on his side. Ryan, gonna throw. First professional pass.....CAUGHT!! Jenkins! 30! 25! 20! 15! 10! 5! He lives in Atlanta!!!" -Wes Durham
I can't force myself to read too much into that
Mike Smith is so cryptic when it comes to injuries. That could just as easily mean “help, John Parker Wilson has a loaded shotgun pointed at my icebox!”

Hate the way NFL teams reveal nothing about injuries these days
Understandable, I guess. Just the thought of Ryan playing sends chills down my paranoid, cynical spine though.
considering
that I read somewhere that he is actually done for the year, because the tendon is actually seperated from the bone and will require surgery… I do not expect to see him back this season. If it happens he damn well better be fully healed. Why throw away next season as well trying to come back too soon.
