Over from GGN to answer all Jets questions
Howdy folks, your very own Dave has come over to answer questions from our members, so I thought I would return the favour and bring a Dave over here. I'm a writer over at Gang Green Nation, a site that has been given a much needed boost with the current win streak.
Any questions you have then fire away, will try my best to answer them, a few of our guys usually come over as well so you will get a few difference perspectives. Hopefully we can have a good chat ahead of the game this Sunday.
Cheers guys, if you could REC this so it stays near the top, would really appreciate it

Tell us what makes Darrelle Revis so special
He just seems like an absolutely dominant force at cornerback.

He really is just an amazing talent, their are a lot of things that make him so special. He has amazing instincts, he has good closing speed, gets a great break on the ball. Is physical, his positioning is better than anyone in the league on short routes or long ones, he gets into the positions to make plays. He keeps his eyes on the QB and as soon as the ball leaves the finger tips, he has made the break. The thing that probably makes him so special is his work ethic, all the coaches say how hard he works, and he is as humble as you can get, he knows he can get better. Natural talent and work ethic.

Tell me outside of Thomas Jones who on your offense will punish our crumy defense?

We have a lot of weapons on offence that ‘could’ punish your defence, we have a great receiving duo in Cotchery and Edwards, Edwards is as physical as you would like and although he sometimes has trouble hanging onto the ball, he has great size and great speed. Keller is a threat over the middle if we can get him into the game, we really haven’t done a good job of that this year. It really depends on which Sanchez turns up, he seems to have improved since Rex implemented a code system with him. We have several key offensive weapons that could beat you, but only one reliable one in the run game with Jones/Greene.

Revis
Is he going to be covering one side of the field, or does he normally match-up with a team’s top WR, no matter where they line up?

He will stick like glue to your top receiver, he usually follows one guy so he will be stuck to White, New England tried moving Moss everywhere to get him lined up against someone else, but we just sent Revis with him. We usually have a saying about the top receiver visiting Revis Island because you just can’t get away from him.

Rex has not committed to a QB yet because he wants to see Sanchez in practise, rumour was that Sanchez wanted to play on Sunday and he could of. I’m 95% certain that he plays this weekend. He has made some improvements, Rex implemented a code system for him and that seemed to work, he is very hot and cold, something you expect from a rookie, he can make some phenomenal passes but he also misses some wide open looks. So it’s very hard to accurately predict what you will see from him.

So...
Considering the state of the Falcons O-line, would you expect Rex to blitz more, especially around the right side (David Harris/Bart Scott territory)?

You know Rex blitzes no matter what, and he schemes the defensive gameplan around the oppositions weaknesses like you would expect any half decent guy to do. I do expect a lot of blitzes on Sunday, and you will see them coming from literally everywhere on the field. I’m not sure if it is possible to blitz any more, not got the stats but I think we blitz more than any team in the league.
Just a point of note. Sanchez practised today and apparently his movement was fine, Rex held off on making him the starter because he wants to see how he feels tomorrow after practising but signs are it will be Sanchez you will be facing on Sunday, and not Clemens.
