SB Nation Has New Format!
My guess is that you already noticed that, but I thought I'd give you the opportunity for some feedback. If you like it or hate it, please send me an e-mail at davethefalconer@yahoo.com. Thanks guys.

hate... absolutely
this is terrible, looks like it feel back a few years into HTML 4.0 days. I absolutely can’t stand it.
I have really fast internet, so I wouldn’t have noticed… but does it improve loading times or something? I can’t find any other reason that would condone such regression.
know what you believe in and why you believe in it
I believe it does improve loading times
I share some of your concerns about the look regressing a bit. Other than that, I’m going to go the company man route and not comment further until I get used to it.

Same here
Dislike the formatting and I’m not sure if it’s on my end or not, but it got ridiculously slow to load pages from SBN, not just this one. And I noticed in some of my comments it wasn’t accounting for my paragraph breaks, which made me look bad and now I feel bad and…
I WANT PUNITIVE DAMAGES!!! WHERE"S MY PITCHFORK?
Nah, I’m sure I could get used to it, but I’m sure I will ever like it. Like I told the guys over at FTRS, I sure hope they added a ton of bells and whistles for you guys cause it isn’t impressing me on the user end.

Didn't notice
and now that I’ve been told, I still don’t see what’s different.
I like it.

Pretty good
Some of the fonts are easier to read, that’s a plus. I don’t see any steps backwards, I think I’ll get used to it pretty fast.
Big negative
When you create a fanpost containing data, the fonts used for data have shrunk and are a lot more difficult to read. Oy!
Definately not a fan.
The default user pic looks generic and the font is way to big for the headlines. It may just be my browser, but some of the boxes cut into the font as well.
yup, Dave... I've given it time now
and still hate it

Your concerns will be passed along
And by passed along I mean sent hurtling through a darkened mine.

I do my best
And they are tweaking the format based on our feedback, so you may see some changes for the better in the near future. Thanks for being willing to speak up.

Not horrible
You know what might help everyone’s experience is if they toggle the Narrow/Wide buttons at the top right of the homepage. It seems like the default is “Narrow” and the experience is a little better in “Wide” mode.
I am a bit particular when it comes to UI’s for sites but in this case it’s always been the people/content that bring me here. Group hug?
In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face.

Good call on "Wide" mode
I hadn’t seen that.
Still, I think I hate it. I can get used to the look of it. But it seems to get goofed up if I preview my comments first, sometimes doesn’t jump down to the comments like it’s supposed to (and I haven’t even tried working with putting up a FanPost yet). Maybe the kinks haven’t been worked out yet, or maybe the problem’s on my end. Either way, it’s worse now.
