Giant's Fan Wondering what you guys think of us
Hey falcon fans, my name's will
I'm here to wonder what you think of Big Blue and how you think the game'll go in two weeks.
I realize you guys are probably all excited about the panthers game (or maybe not depending on which Delholme shows up), but it's never to early in my opinion to find out what the enemy thinks.
Reading one of the posts, it seems a lot of you guys have a pretty low opinion of the giants and think you'll have a win against us.
Anyways, thanks for answering. Bye weeks are killer, and I've been excited about this game for a while. One of my best friends is a Falcon fan, so this'll be a little friendly battle between us. Hopefully it'll be as good as last weeks game (but with different results)

I think our collective opinion has gone down a little
Just given the results of the last few weeks. We’d be foolish to overlook you, of course.

Frankly, we're frightened, specially since you guys are coming off a BYE after a four week losing streak.
Your team will play its heart out a week from Sunday and I’m expecting a tough, tough game. And possibly a loss.
You have opinions. We all do. Some of yours may have to do with the Falcons. Sign up today and share them.
The bye week shouldn't scare you
We’ve historically sucked after bye weeks. Before this season I chalked this game up as a loss because we always suck after byes and I thought we’d be 8-1, 7-2.
Now its a must win game for both of us.

On 3rd down, throw it to Smith.
I'm very concerned about that game
as much as I would like for it to be a win and I’m hoping to see the Giants that seem to have lost their edge this season, I know that is highly unlikely with you guys coming off a bye week. It will be a tough matchup and I don’t think our Birds are going to be able to win it. However, I remain hopeful and of course I always think the Birds stand a chance at winning whatever game they have next.
know what you believe in and why you believe in it
not sure what to expect
You guys have not been playing as well lately so I am not sure about this one. I think we have a chance, but you never know.

Easiest win of the season
Wait, that’s this weekend, sorry. But seriously, the Giants have been playing pretty porly lately and I’m not all that certain that even with a bye week they will beat the Falcons. Sure, I’m partial, but just look at the numbers you guys are giving up (almost 40 pts a game in losses). I’m sure it will be a good game though.

So
How did that easy win go for you?

Giants will be fine
Despite their current troubles, I think your franchise is in pretty good shape. Youse guys haven’t had a losing season since 2004 despite playing in one of the toughest divisions around. I look for them to give the Falcons a very tough fight.
I noticed on PFR that the Giants are #1 in defensive yardage but #22 in defensive points allowed. You hardly ever see a differential that big, I can see how the fans are antsy. Good luck to you guys when you’re not playing the Falcons.
Sucky red zone defense
(and offense may i add), and poor special teams team means the opposing team gets a shorter field, and if they make it to the one digits, you can pretty much be assured it’ll be a td.
We have more hope because a lot of our injured players on D are coming back, and from what I saw last week, they make a whole lot of a difference

it's too bad you guys lost on to San Diego
I thought the cold will stop them in thier tracks. you guys are better behaved than Yankee fans if you ask me and P.S. I was rooting for you guys in the Super Bowl. best of luck to ya
I'm excited for the game
Unless we experience a major breakdown elsewhere in the season, our wild card spot is not likely to hinge on this game, so my main interest is to see how Atlanta looks against a high-profile team after a couple weeks of playing weaker teams. A win here would go a long way toward establishing momentum going into the tougher stretch of our remaining season and earning the largely-ignored Falcons a little respect. The Giants are having some problems but shouldn’t be underestimated…it should be a good game.
For the record, I’ve always liked the Giants. I hope you guys get back on top soon…just not against us.
Confused from the get go
with the G Men, ya’ll started out 5-0 and everybody was all excited but look who ya’ll played Redskins, Cowboys, Bucs, Chiefs, and Raiders. If the Giants had anything but a 5-0 or 4-1 record I would have been shocked. Don’t get me wrong I thinks it’s crazy that the Giants have lost 4 in a row but look who you’ve played Saints, Cards, Eagles, and Chargers. So that’s like a 12-28 record in the 1st 5 games to a 23-9 in the last 4. If you look at that I would say your a middle of the road team that shouldn’t be over looked by any means. If we win this weekend is our game with NY a must win? I would say no to a MUST win game but a game we need to win to show we belong. Only reason I don’t think its a must win for us is our remaining schedule(Panthers, Jets, Eales, Bucs(2 games) and Bills) is “easier” than yours(Broncos, Reds, Vikes, Panthers, Boys, and Eagles) That’s only 2 maybe 3 teams with winning records that we play compared to the Giants only playing 2 teams with losing records. We could lose to ya’ll and still be alright as far as the wild card is concerned, G Men lose to the Falcons and they could and more than likely will miss the playoffs. A little long winded but I’ve put some thought into it, so it’s easy to guess I’m really excited about playing the Giants but can’t and won’t over look the Panthers!!

that's what i was saying
from the 1st 5 games to the next 4 the quality of opponent drastically changed. That’s why it’s hard to reallly figure out what kind of team the Giants are. Are they a bad team posing as a really good team in the 1st 5 games and they were exposed by the good teams in the next 4 or a team that’s just slumping and desperatly needed a bye week. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
that came out wrong
i don’t think the saints are “crappy” at all, I strongly dislike the team, ownership, fanbase, stadium, street that the stadium is on, brees and all of his relatives, i even hate the janitors at the superdome but i don’t think they’re crappy.
thats not quite what I mean about crappy
being a Falcon fan I just hate them no offense to any Saints fans hear
crappy = undefeated? undefeated = crappy?
Sir, your reasoning skills astonish me. But, then, I am but a simple “Who Is That.”

because
16 years doesn’t count as a boy here, your a man when you get you drivers liscense in the South. No offense Dave the Falconer
You're (not "your") a man in Cambodia at 10 years old
when your (not you’re) parents put your butt in the rice field!
By the way, I didn’t know you needed a driver’s license at sixteen. I thought you just put a quarter in the slot.
(Ok, Dave. I’ll stop now.)

Well you don't really have to get a license at 16, but it's a good idea to get one
it give you a better chance for more driving experience. Before cars were invented, what made you a man was when you start hunting and I’ve started that 2 years ago on every Thanksgiving but unfortunately I’ve never shot a deer because I never saw one on that particular day and before I started my dad shot one each year. Odd, isn’t it? oh and P.S. my grammer isn’t like Shakespear’s if you know what I mean, but I still do well at school
None taken

Aye I'm going to the game
What are Giant fans like? Looking forward to going to New York City.
You can never have enough depth.
Depends
I went to the chargers game, and I personally saw at least 5 fights between giants and chargers fans. It was away from me so I don’t know who started it, but I’d like to say generally we aren’t too bad.
Overall I think we’re pretty good (much better than eagle fans, you never want to go to the eagles’ place wearing an opposing jersey), but just don’t be an asshole about it.
You should be fine, just don’t intentionally cause chaos

Just make sure you bring clothes for all weather
While it has been great the last few days in North Jersey, the weather and temperature can get really nasty real soon.

I've spent some time with Giants fans
They have an edge to them up there and definitely take their footbawl seriously. A little cocky and will rib you some but its mostly good natured. They’re not out and out a holes like Philly fans though
I know that story
about the phils. and I give good luck to Manning I know how bad it is to lose your best reciever when Mike Vick lost Piereless Price to Buffalo for someone
You mean Plax?
We’ve pretty much forgotten about him, except for a few irrational “fans”.
With Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, and Mario Manningham, we think we’re set at receiver for the future.
