So whats the deal...?
even though we played awesome defense against the 49ers last week coming off of a bye i really was hoping to see more from Tye hill. is there something going on with this guy we don't know about or is smitty system soooo complex and advanced that its really taking him this long to get adjusted to a playoff calibur team? i could see him and b.williams locking down wideouts and houston as the nickel or even tye hill as the nickel and hill and williams starting or heck even williams as the nickel but hinestly that guy has been awesome for us IMO.
i knowhe gets hurt alot and all but the guy was a 1st round pick 2yrs ago i gotta feeling he can re-gain his form or at least id like to convince myself he can at lest.
so does anybody else wonder whats going on?

He might just not be panning out
Or he could be taking plenty of time to catch up. With the secondary playing pretty well, the team probably doesn’t feel like they need to rush him.
If that continues, I’d be fine with not seeing him get on the field until mid-season or a little later. Once he learns the system, though, I am intrigued to see what Hill can do.

I agree with Dave
The Cornerbacks have been playing better than I expected (especially Grimes) – so why fix something that’s not really broken? Plus, he was not very good in STL, so maybe our expectations were too high from the start…
Wasn't there talk about him being a slow learner?
Seems that the scuttlebutt on him was that he didn’t catch on too quickly. Since he was a first round pick, most likely he’s got the physical tools. What a huge boost it would be if he finally “gets it” with the Falcons.
Domonique Foxworth last year...
… didn’t play until the Philadelphia game, week 8 after the bye. He turned out OK. I don’t know much about Hill, so I don’t have a clue if he’s going to pan out or not – but I don’t see the delay in getting him into a game as a cause for concern. Yet.
well what about
now that brian williams may not play due to injury?
That would be bad.
Williams has been good for us this year. Maybe we’ll get to see Hill if Williams is inactive. Coach Smitty said that Williams’ eye “wasn’t an issue” (yeah, so why is he questionable?) I hope Williams is in there.
If Hill takes the same path as Foxworth did last year – a DB acquired before the season for a 7th, inactive for half the season, good contributor when he did get in – I’ll be happy. That’s not a prediction – I don’t know enough about Hill to be so bold. That’s just a hope, and an example from last year to say that it’s at least possible.
well well well
looks like brian willams is out for the year now so we might have to see hill whether he’s ready or not.
doubt it
I cant believe they went and got the guy though if he isnt worth putting on the field.
