Julius Peppers to ATL?
I think we should make a move for Peppers!
I think his verteran experience could really help out or young line, and maybe he would be more motivated to preform if he were on a winning team.
I think making a move like this to improve our D-Line will also help out our lack of talent in the secondary. I was amazed at the way our D played against the 9ers, but im not so sure if we can play like that against powerhouse offenses like New Orleans and NY Giants.
We need to make some moves now to improve our team before our tough upcoming games.
...If not Peppers I think we need to look for some large DT's. I loved Grady Jackson, and the loss of P.Jerry is making things worse for our run defense.

Few Reasons This May Not Work:
1. $$$
2. Why trade such an impact player to a division rival?
3. $$$
Reporter: How will you address all of the dropped passes?
Mike Smith: I don’t think that we were as sharp as we have been catching the football. It’s something that is very fixable. It’s VERY fixable.

I think one of the main reasons our D was so good last week is because JA98
was moved to DT. We pressured (especially JA98, who had a bajillion pressures) Shaun Hill back into mediocrity. It was fantabulous. Now we get to test it out again against the Bears.
Honestly, Peppers would be a drain on our team, especially after I’ve seen him “take plays off.” Keep in mind that he never once got to Matt Ryan when Carolina played us in Week 2. If he couldn’t get through our OL, he probably couldn’t impress our coaches.

Exactly... (rec'd)
Why pay 14 million a year for a lazy player? He should be in his prime right now, and he’s simply not prodoucing…
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

No Way!
why grab him? we a great defensive line; if there is a guy we should go after, it’s Albert Hynesworth not ole pepper spray

I like Haynesworth
But the money is exorbitant. No way would we give up picks AND pay out that kind of dough.

I almost said they'd consider it given the uncapped season coming
But if they get a new agreement in place, they’d still be on hook in the years ahead, so never mind. No denying he’d be great to have.

Carolina keeps saying he isnt going anywhere. either they are intent on keeping him or they are back door dealing with someone already.

I'm late to this thread...
But please God no!!!
Didn’t you see enough of him taking the day off when we played the Panthers in week 2 to want to steer clear. Dude has talent but his attitude is sorely lacking.
