Around SBN: Bracketology 2012: Duke Finally Steps Up To The No. 1 Line

As the article notes, it'd be very pricey to do so. Still, just try to imagine an Abraham/Peppers end tandem without being caught up in a religious fervor.

Programming note, as well. We'll have post-season thoughts from myself and two of the most talented Falcons bloggers on the web coming up in the next couple of days.

Pipe dream

There is like a 0.05% chance that we’ll pick up peppers.

I don’t believe that the Carolina front office is inept to the point where they would let a DIVISION rival pick up the second best pass rusher in the NFC South.

I think we have a better chance at getting Terrell Suggs or even Shawn Merriman than chasing Peppers.

But I would welcome Peppers all the same.

Panthers are gonna franchise him

http://blogs.charlotte.com/panthers/2009/01/peppers-doesnt.html

LA26 has a point. If they do franchise him and then look to trade him, you’d think we’d be fairly low on their list.

Also, what would this mean for Anderson? Are we going to pay him 1st rd money to be our backup? I would think no.

That pairing would probably constitute

as “Unfair Advantage” in some obscure NFL rule book.

defintely unfair advantage

but I’m definitely dreaming

not very likely… but defintely something we could hope up (right along the same lines as “falcons could have a winning season in 2008”)

The folks over at Buc 'Em are lookin foward to Mr. Peppers

They got a countdown clock counting down the days, hours, etc till he’s a free agent.

Yeah.

That’ll happen. Silly Buc fans.
