Norwood
hes bound to go to another team and get a much bigger role eventually when his contract is up. that brings about the question should we trade him and get some value for him, instead of none. hes worth at least a 2nd and 3rd rounder in my opinion. im not sure how many years he has left on his contract but there cant be many. it crossed my mind and i just wanted to hear what you guys had to say.

Absolutely not
I don’t think norwood is a primary back in this league. He’s got the speed, but he goes down too easily. He’s a great spell back, and I could see him getting taken away from us for that purpose when his contract is up. I just don’t see us trading a surefire big play guy for a draft pick. He’s worth way more than that.

Look at his stats
Around 100 carries each of his first three seasons … but he rushes for less yards this season than in either of the previous two seasons. Yet … his receiving yards are higher this year than in either of the previous two seasons.
Dude is developing into an excellent complimentary back in our system. You have to think he likes his role.
I seriously doubt all 204 lbs (according to the official roster … yeah right) of him wants to be blocking angry linemen on a regular basis.

No way
I do not think that the front office will let him go, if they do their just creating another problem. The Harvin column would be legit if Norwood was to leave but in my mind there’s no need to get a guy who can run and catch because you already have a guy that can do that! It’s absurd.

Thomas Brown
He surprised me pre-season. If he develops into a legit returner and good change of pace type guy, I could see trading Norwood. Thats a big if though

Jumping the Gun
Brown looked good during the preseason, but his trip to the IR didn’t do much to convince me that he is durable enough to be an NFL back.
Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge IF …
