Matt Ryan and Darren McFadden Favored to win Rookie of the Year

The oddsmakers are making Ryan a good bet to win the rookie of the year.

He is only Behind McFadden....

I don't know if he will have a shot. Only way he will is if the Falcons can win the Division and make a run in the Playoffs. I don't see the Atlanta Falcons Line being good enough to do that.

I like those odds on Chris Johnson of Tennessee (+2025). From what I have seen this preseason, he will be utilized more and be more effective than both McFadden and Ryan. Check him out this Friday when the Titans come to town.

I would put my money on him @ +2275.

The RB situation in Houston is pretty up in the air with Ahman Green’s groin not getting any better. He has really separated himself from anyone else there. And of course the fact that the coaching team Kubiak & Gibbs had a knack for making unknown rookies 1,000 yard rushers in their rookie season in Denver.

I caught part of what he could do in the Texans/Saints game. I liked what I saw.

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face.

My big sleepers

Are Ray Rice of the Ravens (alliteration!) and Eddie Royal of the Broncos. Both are in great situations and could really surprise, though I’m not sure I’d put money on either.

Some Pretty Solid Choices there guys… I think we are going to see some big time years from Rookies all across the NFL this year. There was a lot of big time talent in the draft so we should get a good race for rookie of the year.

Rookie of the Year

With Oakland Darren McFadden will be in jail by mid-season along w/ DeBungalo Hall. And then when Al Davis signs Michelle ConVick when he gets out of FEDERAL PRISON they will have some kind of 3-some.
