Falcoholic Fantasy Football, Anyone?
I just wanted to give you all a heads up about something new at SB Nation that I'm sure some of you are going to be interested in. This year, we're going to have a Falcoholic fantasy football league for the first time, allowing each and every one of you to bury me at the bottom of the standings.
We've got some more news coming down the pipeline about this, but for now please let me know if you're interested so I can get a rough idea of how many people will sign up. Leave 'em in the comments or e-mail me at davethefalconer@yahoo.com.

Umm, yeah
I would be all over this Dave. Count me as one of I’m sure countless who will wnt in on it. Should be interesting to manage depending on how many people get involved and which format the league(s) will be in.
Count me in
Thanks.
Yep, I remember 'hemorrhage', and 'embolism', and even 'detached retina'... It sounded scary, but when you smell the goal line, they're only words. Just words.
I’m in
The Falcons should sign Chuck Norris.

How much time for draft prep?
I played in a few baseball fantasy leagues in the ‘80s and remember that draft prep was quite an ordeal.
Is a football fantasy draft just as time-consuming? I’d hate to go into a draft with half-assed preparation (and likely results to match).
Are there any resources out there for free downloadable career player stats? As I recall, a lot of the time I spent on baseball drafts was spent on data entry. The job wouldn’t be too bad if you didn’t have to key all that stuff in.
