Current Falcons Defensive Line

The Falcons defensive line going into the 2008 season probably has the worse personnel Falcons fans have seen in over 15 years.  The D-line has only one starter that any other NFL team might want (John Abraham). J. Anderson has a lot to prove and there should be a competition for his spot rather than to just hand it to him outright.  The defensive tackles consist of “Relief” players.  Not one has distinguished himself over the course of a season except as a “Backup” player.  No amount of coaching will be able to change this group!  The only true hope would be to pick up some veteran players not yet signed!  A gimpy Rod Coleman and an overweight Grady Jackson would look real inviting to this defense!  No amount of sugar coating can repair the damage that this defensive line will make if not properly treated as soon as possible!  What fan will long endure other Teams offenses of all types continuously running over our defensive line!  We need help now not the next draft unless the Management and Coaches have already written off this season.  If so, then stop trying to sell season tickets because they won’t sell!

has a got a lot of upside still. he was coming on strong until he had his knee injury, i think he could be a solid starter. but on the other hand totally agree with bringing back both rod coleman and grady jackson as long as we dont over pay for them.
